What it does
Alphabet's autonomous driving subsidiary and, by fleet and miles, the largest deployment of robots doing paid work anywhere. As of June 2026 it ran commercial service in ten US metro areas with 3,871 vehicles, 500,000 paid rides a week and 200 million fully autonomous miles. It is listed in camp 5 as the yardstick every humanoid deployment number is measured against, and in camp 2 for the learned simulation it trains against.
